Soul shifted away from Regina after being hugged and moved toward Maka. Maybe he would have to use that as an excuse? Her body was asymmetrical, and therefore he wasn't interested. who better to be able to tell such things then Kidd himself? But California? That was awesome! "Sweet, we deserve a vacation." He stated, clearly pleased with their outcome.
Regina rolled her eyes. "Ew, why would I hug you?" She asked, flipping her hair. "I only like attractive men. Let's face it, on a scale from one to ten, you're like... a zero, Black Star." She shrugged. "Soul and Kidd both have a considerable amount of status. Kidd is rich, which gives him a leg up, but Soul is a Death Scythe, and Kidd is fucking crazy." she smiled at them, as if to say 'no offense'. "Anyway, I cant wait to see you boys there." She winked and walked toward her seat.
Liz looked over her shoulder at Kidd, who was cowering. Somehow, his reaction calmed her. At least that meant he wouldn't go for her, right? If she had to deal with a girl like that she might use Patti to blow her brains all over the wall and REALLY give Kidd something to cry about. Oh well, maybe she was thinking about this too much. "I hope all the girls don't have to room together, she added. "Because if she comes home with a guy, she can have sex with him in the hallway." Leave it to her to be the first one to say something like that.

Someone snorted at Liz’s last comment. Maka covered her mouth and coughed when the others turned to look at her. “Sorry,” she muttered, feeling slightly awkward now. Either way, she could tell that she and Liz were on the same page when it came to Regina. “So when are we leaving?” she asked to change the subject.
Black Star let out a bloodcurdling scream and lunged for her, annoyed when he was stopped by Tsubaki. “Let me at her, Let me get her! She just called me ugly! I’m not ugly! You’re ugly you pig nosed witch!” He shouted, spitting as he did so, some of it landing on her.
Gretchen made her way over with Karen, who was focused on something on the ceiling, out of it. “We leave tomorrow,” she said, running a nail file over her manicured fingers. “Whatever. Karen can you stop staring at the ceiling like a dumbass? Seriously, people are going to start wondering why I’m hanging out with you.”
Kid calmed down slightly, straightening himself up and pretending as though the previous incident had never happened. “Anyway, well...I guess a vacation would be nice. However, I don’t know if it’s a good idea to leave Shibusen. It is my job as a Shinigami to protect the school.” Yeah, that was it. That was why he couldn’t leave, not because he was afraid of being raped by asymmetrical breasts.

Soul smiled at Liz's comment and maka's laugh. He shook his head and sat down, looking down at Maka, just now realizing how much taller than her he was.
Liz turned and bent down to be face level with Kidd. "Come on, Kidd..." She pleaded. "You know that we can't go unless you go, and Patti REALLY wants to see the giraffes." yeah, this was about Patti and not about her. Not one bit. "I'll help make sure that the house is perfectly symmetrical before we leave." Which, in her mind meant cleaning her room before Kidd saw it. But she was willing to help balance out everything else to avoid him having to come ALL the way back, knowing he would take both her and Patti with him.
She'd already made a checklist of things he freaked out about to check before he left so he wouldn't feel the need to go back for them in the middle of a battle. And if they were gone for a week, she wasn't risking anything. Especially if they were going to California. A lot of shit was legal there that... uh... No that she was thinking about participating in any of said activities.
Tsubaki smiled to comfort Black Star. "She's just one person, Black Star. I know you're not ugly, and you said it yourself, she's not that pretty. Why don't you just forget about her?" She questioned, using all of her power to restrain him.
Being spit on caused Regina to scream (loudly) and run away from him. "GRETCHEN! KAREN!" she yelled at them as she darted out of the classroom toward a bathroom to wash off the offending piece of slobber.
"Hey, since we're leaving, that means you have to go on a date tonight, right Soul?" Patti pointed out, looking over at the white haired scythe. "Since we're going to be gone and california girls don't count for our bet."

Gretchen sighed and grabbed Karen by the arm. “Let’s go,” she said, pulling her out of the room to follow their meister.
Maka sat down in her seat beside Soul, taking out her book, a picture of a locket and a key on the front, before she flipped it open and started reading, tuning out the conversation about Soul’s upcoming date.
Kid smirked, “Why, yes. I’ve forgotten all about that. Have you chosen a girl yet, Soul?” he asked, taking a seat next to to Patti and Liz. He began to take out his school supplies, neatly organizing them. His notebook in the center, a pencil and pen on each side to balance it out. They still had a few minutes before actual class started but he wanted to make sure everything was set and ready to go for whenever their crazy professor arrived.
Black Star finally relaxed when Tsubaki spoke up, stomping to his seat with a grumble. He sat down the row above Soul and Maka, directly near Soul. “Yeah you gotta tell me who she is man, and she better be hot too! I wanna date her after she’s through with you. I mean, we’re bros, we can share girls like that! Especially when she finds out how much better I am than you and leaves you for me! HAHAHA!” He laughed crazily.

Patti smiled. "Yeah! What's her name? What's her name!?"
The ninth Death Scythe, sighed. "Well... I haven't reall decided, I figured I had the rest of the week." His eyes wandered the room as girls started to come in. Then he started to think of names that he knew the faces too. Most of the girls he just knew by their faces (or breasts). "I guess I could go out with that cute blonde girl. Katie?" He stated, thinking of the girl with one of the sexiest racks he'd ever seen.
Soul looked over his shoulder at Black Star and arched a brow. "You're kidding right? You want my leftovers? Ew..." he stated, laughing. "You're my bro Black Star, but I don't want to eat a meal you've already had your fill of, you know what I'm saying?" It was creepy to think about, honestly. Who would want to share. "I mean, the only time something like that would be hot is if it was two chicks." He pointed at Liz and Patti. "Twins or sisters would be sexy, not sharing with my bro, you know?"
Liz rolled her eyes. "Yeah, keep up that fantasy, because it will never happen. With me, or with any other pair of sisters. I promise." he grabbed a pen and a pencil from Kidd's bag (in order to keep the numbers of both even) and then handed Patti the pencil and wrote the date at the top of her paper in pen, before putting to between the pages.

Maka’s fingers dug into the edge of her book. Ignore, ignore, ignore. Still, her olive eyes peeked over the top of her book, following the girl as she entered the room. What was so special about her anyway? Yeah so she had amazing, shiny blonde hair that flipped and did all sorts of other cool things, but...Her eyes dropped to the girls chest and she understood. She’d forgotten that the most important aspect of a female was apparently her breast size, and boy, did Katie have those. Letting out a sigh, she blew aside a piece of ash blonde hair that had fallen in her eyes, further burying herself in her book. Whatever, she thought.
Black Star shrugged. “Calm on, man!” he said, looking over as Katie walked in. “Woah, you’re gonna ask HER out? But dude, isn’t she a little out of your league? She has the body of a GODDESS! Come on, you should pick someone else and let ol’ Black Star have this babe.” He looked over at Soul. “What do you say?”
Kid laughed. “The way you to discuss this is very primitive. Are you seriously talking about sharing girls, Black Star?” he asked, shaking his head. “I sure hope you are curtious when you ask this girl out, Soul. I’ve learned from experience not to fondle or even so much as mention a females breasts while she is around,” he said, sending a glance to his weapons, slightly pouty. How many times had be gotten slapped over the head for grabbing at their boobs? And it wasn’t dirty either, he was simply trying to make the point that their breasts weren’t the same size! “Anyway, since we’re leaving for this trip tomorrow, you might as well go on the date tonight, otherwise you will have failed the bet and you know what that means.”

Soul looked over at her. "I don't think so. I mean, she might be better looking then me, but I'm a death Scythe, you heard what Regina said. She's a bitch and all, but she's right. I have a title that makes up for my lacking income and less than amazing social standing. Which means that I sorta have an advantage in asking her out. at least over you Black Star." He stated, but gave him an apologetic smile. "And if she says no, then I'll pretend to be heart broken and ask someone else. Chicks dig that sorta thing." He stated, standing up from his seat. "Be back, I am not losing."
Walking down the stairs, he went to where she was and started to talk to her. At first she looked surprised, and then a shocked (and flawless) smile came her to her face and she nodded. Afterward, she ran to her seat with her other friends and started to whisper to them. Following that, they all erupted into a loud scream of excitement. Sitting back with his friends, Soul grinned. "See? No problem."
Liz sighed. "Just because you're our meister doesn't mean you get frisking rights Kidd. I don't care how much it bothers you that Patti and I aren't symmetrical in human form." She stated, looking over her nails. One of which was chipped.

Black Star made a face. “Hey! I am, like, ten times hotter than you are! I mean it, girls have a thing for weird hair colors like blue,” he said. “Well you’re right about that. The title Death Scythe will make her want you, but not because you’re good looking, no that’s ME.” He plopped back down in his seat. He watched as Soul made his way over to the girl, swooning her. “Looks like he’s got her! Damn, I was hoping he’d lose the bet too.” When he came back, Black Star fist bumped him. “Now all you gotta do is take her out somewhere nice,”
Kid shrugged with a smirk. “You know my tendencies,” he said, eyeing the door as Professor Stein came through. Yet another day of school was beginning. Truth be told, he hadn’t expected to like having to get up early to go to school everyday, but he did end up liking it. He’d made more friends than he would have out of school. He picked up a pen, ready to write down whatever the professor told them to. Beside Soul, Maka tucked away her book and did the same. However, despite that the teacher had just come in, most of the children around them were still stuck up on what had just happened. Apparently the newest Death Scythe asking out a girl meant the world had to stop.

Stein rolled into the classroom on his chair. Most notably, his face were stitches where Regina had cut him. Looking around the room, listening to some of the gossip, he sighed, lighting up a cigarette and took a drag from it, exhaling a cloud of smoke. Well... this was bothersome. Clearing his throat rather loudly, he waited for attention, which he only had from a handful of students, so he drew out scalpels, which silenced everyone and they took their seats. He looked rather pleased, and rather than lecturing right away, he congratulated the winning team and allowed the class to clap for them. "Now.." He began. "That being said, I'd like to turn matters to something more serious." He started to turn the screw in his head. "I think it would be best to highlight some things about Asura, to appease some of you who have been coming to my and the other teachers offices. since Arachne's death and Asura's subsequent retreat into hiding, it is very doubtful that he himself will make a move. He has others doing his bidding instead, such as former Death Scythe, Justin Law." He explained, not being one to lie to them. "Confrontation with anyone who works for or with him is foolish, and I wouldn't suggest it, even in teams." Realistically, Justin was out to get rid of him, so he assumed he's attack the students to achieve such a thing. However, he didn't want to frighten them by admitting into such a thing. "In which case, Shinigami-sama would not send the best team away if he thought that there was any real danger. They're recuperating after the last battle. Are there any questions about what I just said?"
Following that, he moved on to the actual lesson planned for the day, which had a few mentions of dissecting things, but this didn't pertain to actually doing it. Instead it was an outline of Asura's forces, what they have, and how scattered they were. It was basic information for them to have, such as weaknesses in known associates, such as Justin.

THE NEXT MORNING TROLOLOL
Maka rolled over, pulling the covers up and over her head, ignoring the loud beeping that echoed in her head. What the hell was that anyway? It sounded like...like..
The fire alarm!
Bolting up, she untangled herself from the sheets, stumbling and face-planting the hardwood floor. She scrambled to get up, swinging open her door, and running down the hallway, prepared to fight off a fire from burning down their apartment. As soon as she made it to the kitchen, she was met by a loud cloud of smoke hovering over the stove, Blair humming happily as she used her magic to levitate a skillet of eggs, which were completely burnt. “You’re doing it wrong!” she shouted. “You scared the crap out of me, I thought our house was in flames!” she continued, grabbing a rag and standing up on a chair, tossing it over the fire alarm to shut it up. Turning her head, she managed to peak into the living room where she saw Soul asleep on the couch, still wearing the clothing he had put on before his date last night. Of course he could sleep through that.
“Don’t burn the apartment down, okay? Just shut off the stove and I’ll make breakfast in a few minutes,” she said, leaving the kitchen. “Soul,” she said, poking him when she made it into the living room. “Soul,” she repeated, louder than before. Still, he didn’t wake up. Grabbing a throw pillow and smacking him over the head, she made a face at him when he finally woke up. “When the hell did you get home last night?” she asked, sounding like a housewife.
The morning had been going swell for Kid. First, he’d woken up to the sun shining, lighting up his bedroom at the perfect angle. Then, he’d been delightfully happy to see that his hair was falling just perfectly this morning, framing his face in the best way possible. Also, his favorite suit was all washed up and dry, folded neatly across a hanger in his closet, waiting for his body.
Things were going smoothly for the Shinigami.
That was, until he took a few steps down the hallway toward Liz’s room. Patti was already awake and eating breakfast. All he had to do was wake up the oldest weapon. However, as soon as he opened the door to her bedroom, he was met with the most horrendous and gut wrenching sight ever.
Gallow’s Manor was suddenly drowned by the bloodcurdling, dying scream of the son of Death himself.

Soul grumbled, feeling himself be struck by something soft and firm. Grumbling, he shifted and pushed himself up on his hands, smoke meeting his eyes, causing them to water. Following that, he started to cough, feeling the smoke entering his lungs. "W-What the...?" he questioned, looking up to see Blair trotting out of the kitchen. Oh well... that explained it. Yawning, he sat up, pulling at his messy clothes that he had slept in. It was about 9:30, so he had a little over an hour to pack his things before they left.
"Um..." he muttered, rubbing his head, trying to remember, pulling off his unbuttoned shirt. it was just a first date, so he dressed pretty casually. He then removed his black tank top and tossed it aside. "Ugh..." He muttered, running his hands through his messy hair. "I think I got back about 3 am this morning?" He added, if he had to put a time on it. "And Blair was sleeping in my bed, in human form, so I just crashed on the couch." he shrugged his shoulders.
Looking at his meister, he bit his lip. "You weren't... worried, were you?"
Patti was sitting in the kitchen eating cereal, legs swinging back and forth in her seat. They had the day off from school and were leaving around 11, so they were allowed to sleep in and spend their morning back. "Morning Kidd!" She saluted. "Liz is still in her room sleeping. I tried to wake her to make me breakfast, but she said she wanted to sleep for a little while longer." She smiled at him, and got up to grab herself some more cereal, having finished her bowl already.
After Kidd walked down the hallway, she suddenly remembered the chaos that was Liz's room. "K-Kidd!" She yelled, running down the hallway, hearing him scream. "W-wa...." She winced and ran over to him, poking the bleeding Shinigami. "K-Kidd..." She whispered, tapping his face.
Liz woke to a rather loud scream close to her. Sitting up, she untangled herself from the sheets of her bed and sighed. Walking over to Kidd in a nothing but a long baggy shirt and a thong she sighed, tapping his face. "Come on Kidd, it's not that had. I wasn't sure what to pack, so I pulled everything out and I was too tired to put it away last night. It was dark, so I just thought I'd wait until morning. I was going to clean it up before we left..." She chimed, as if that would make things all better. "Patti why did you let him come in here?"
The younger weapon rubbed the back of her head nervously. "I forgot that your room looked like this, and didn't realize he was going to wake you until after." She stated wearily.
Sighing once more, Liz leaned over kid, her messy dark blonde hair streaming over her shoulder. "Kidd... you can't lay on the floor like this forever...?"

Maka grabbed whatever was closest to her and Maka-Chopped him. “Three AM?! What the hell were you doing out that late anyway?” she asked, tossing the dictionary she had hit him with aside. “You know what, don’t answer that.” Why would she even think to ask that? She would just have to hit him again if he actually did tell her. Counting down in her head, she turned around to leave before she blew up on him. “Whatever, I hope you had a wonderful time. Just don’t try to make a habit out of it,” she stated, trying her best to sound at least decently uninterested. She stopped when she reached the door frame but didn’t turn around. “Toss your clothes in the hamper and get your stuff packed, we have to leave soon.” The words came out quiet casually, with very little emotion attached to them.
Stupid, super shiny haired Katie. She pictured their faces, glued together in a disgusting, passionate kiss and Maka slammed the refrigerator door she had opened moments ago to grab a water bottle shut, shaking the contents inside.
“Maka~! Come on, I got something that’ll cheer you up!” Blair sang, hopping up onto the girl’s shoulder. She pointed a paw at the counter in the kitchen where a few bags from some fancy store in the mall sat. Maka allowed the previous incident to drift from her mind for a moment, walking over to the bags.
“What’s this?” she asked.
“Just some stuff I bought for you!” Blair answered.
Maka peaked in, taking out a bikini fit for someone with C or D cup breasts. Her face instantly reddened. “Blair, this can’t fit me...I lack in that general area.”
“Oh, silly. Those are mine. Yours are below it! Just take a look, you’ll love it~!” Blair hopped from her shoulder and sat up on the counter, knocking the bag over until another bathing suit fell out, this one a light green and fairly cute, though not nearly as sexy as the one that Blair had bought for herself. “I thought this one fit you perfectly, I knew I had to get it!”
Make picked up the top part of the two piece suit. “It is cute. Thanks, Blair. But how come you got a new bathing suit too?”
Letting out a meow, she winked. “I’m coming along too. I’m your cat after all. There’s no way I can live on my own for that long now, I’m too used to you guys cooking for me.”
Blood poured out of Kid’s mouth and he shook his head, looking at the ceiling with pathetic eyes. “No, please don’t. Please don’t make me get up. If I stand up I’ll look at it and just fall down again. Please, please, make it go away. Pleaaaaaaase!” he cried, literally.
How could they do this? How could they allow a room in his neatly organized house to become so disorganized and dirty? How, how, how? “I’ll die,” he said, rolling over so that his face was against the floor. “I’ll die. I’m horrible for not noticing this earlier. Oh god, in my own house, right underneath my eyes. How could you Liz? How could I not see this, this ruin! I must die, right now. I cannot go on any longer. I am asymmetrical, my house is asymmetrical, there is no reason for me to continue living,” he moped, sniffling and wiping his nose on the carpet. He could just cry. No, he could weep, fall into a deep, nerve wracking sob. However, he needed to stay manly. He couldn’t let his emotions get the better of him.
“Please Patti, clean it up. Please...Oh god..”
Why had this world forsaken him? His own partners...betrayed him, left him in a pitiful mess of a life. There was no more light, no salvation. He was to die here, a pile of asymmetrical garbage.

Soul collapsed onto the ground, light headed from the attack. Slowly, as the stars faded from his vision, he managed to sit up, his bare chest falling on teh coffee table, needing it to support him. "Ugh..." He muttered, tiredly. "I was..." he began to explain why he was out so long. "On a date..." He stated. "There... weren't any nice restaurants in Death City, so I decided to leave." Maka threw something and he dodged it. "Why the hell did you ask me if you didn't want to know, huh!?" He demanded, standing up, gritting his teeth.
"Ugh! Women!" He complained, rubbing the back of his head, yawning tiredly. Then, he got up and went into the bathroom to shower. After a quick shower, he went into his room to dress (having stormed in there without getting a chance of clothes). After getting dressed, he started to pack his things into a suitcase that it looked like Maka had gotten him. In retrospect, he knew that she had been worried. He could have at least called and told her that he was behind. Sighing, he wondered what he would do if she was out that long on a date.
Knowing Maka, she would never do something like that, and the thought of her being gone that long would drive him crazy. I mean... what right did some guy have fooling around with HIS meister? He heard his door open and didn't bother to turn around, sure it was Blair, telling him to apologize to Maka for worrying her or something.
He tossed his deodorant and some cologne into his bag and then threw a few pairs of shorts on top of it so it wouldn't break. Maybe he should apologize...? Sighing, he turned, surprised to see Maka instead of a cat (of the half naked Blair). "M-Maka..." he muttered, searching her body to make sure she wasn't holding something to Maka-Chop him with.
Liz sighed, actually feeling guilty. "Come on Kidd... it's not that bad..." She moved away from him, starting to pick up her room. Luckily, she had cleaned her room the night before. It had been far worse last night. She put her clothes in her closet (or the hamper) and closed the doors. Then she finished putting the clothes she wanted in a suitcase and her shoes in another suitcase. "There you go!" She chimed, helping him roll over to see the neater room. she still had make up out on her table, but they were stacked in a symmetrical fashion in two towers. "It'll be okay Kidd, I promise I will never let my room get this messy again, okay? It was an accident, because we were going somewhere so important, I had to make sure I brought all of my best outfits to look good in California, right?" She pressed, trying to distract him.
Then, sighing, she rubbed her temples. She was not all that great at comforting him so early in the morning. "You deserve to live Kidd, I made the mess, and I betrayed you. I guess that means I should make it up to you by making breakfast, right?"
Patti finished making Liz's bed and walked over, laughing. "You should probably start by putting on a bra and getting dressed." She added happily to her sister. "Unless Kidd would rather you walk around like that all day."
Liz grumbled. "Just take him into the kitchen and give him something to drink."
"Right!" Taking both of Kidd's arms, Patti started to drag him out of the room. "Come on Kidd!"

During the rest of the morning, as Soul stayed a good distance from her, showering and what not, Maka cleaned up the mess Blair had made, made breakfast, and tidied up the house so it would be when they came back. The table was set up, three plates as usual, though only Blair was at the table currently, chewing at the eggs while humming a song she had heard on the radio. Beside her was a purple phone that she happily paw-scrolled through, texting someone.
Maka, however, knew that she was going to have to track Soul down and tell him that breakfast was done, otherwise he wouldn’t realize it and they would run late. She knocked a few times, muttering something to warn him that she was coming in before she slid open his door, glancing around. Her eyes settled on his suitcase, feeling to awkward to look him in the eye. “Hey,” she muttered. “Um, I finished breakfast...you should come eat before it gets cold.” Biting her lip as she spoke, she made an effort to smile.
Okay, so maybe she had been to rough on him. It wasn’t like it was any of her business to pry into his personal life. Despite being her weapon and best friend, he still had had a portion of his life that didn’t belong to her and a right to do whatever he wanted with it. That and he was a guy. She still remembered staying up waiting for her father to come home, back near the end of her parents’ relationship, when her mother would tell her everything was fine and he was just held up somewhere. Maka still wondered if her mama was truly trying to convince her that things were going to be fine, or whether she was trying to convince herself.
Either way, she couldn’t stay angry at Soul for too long. “Just...put your suitcase near the door with the rest of our things so we won’t forget it.”
Kid let Patti pull him to his feet, though he made no effort he actually move. The room looked better, but the image he had of it in it’s messy state was forever embedded in his mind. He allowed Patti to drag him down the hall, but not before he first vomited on the ground, then complained that he needed to clean it up before it stained his carpet.
A few minutes after the scenario, he was seated in the kitchen, rubbing his forehead with both hands. It didn’t even matter that his hair looked fabulous today. The scene played over in his mind. His precious house...Who could ever commit such a heinous act? He couldn’t even imagine a paper clip being out of place in his bedroom. “Liz, do we have anything that will calm my stomach?” he asked, looking up at the caramel blonde as she cooked breakfast. “I feel sick.”
He stood up to get a glass of water, bringing it back to his seat. How was he going to leave his manor for a week? He dusted it every day to make sure no disgusting particles gathered on his furniture. He also made sure the floors were nice and waxed and that everything was in place. The candles had to be rotated and measured every eight hours to make sure they had burned down to the same height. Everything was precise.
He stopped.
Maybe this trip was a good idea...

"Maka..." Soul repeated, turning to face her. Why did this feel so different then everything else? Yeah, they lived together, but it just felt weird for one reason or another. He didn't really want this trip to be awkward for the entire duration and if they two of them weren't speaking to one another it would cause a rift in their soul resonance and he might accidentally burn her again. Walking over to her, he took one of her gloved hands into his own and led her over to his bed. Before she could object, he sat down and gestured for her to sit beside him. "Look..." He began, awkwardly. "I... I know that you don't want to hear about it, but I didn't like... have sex with her, or whatever. We left Death City and traffic was blocked off on the way back and we got delayed. After being in traffic for like a half an hour, I decided we should do something else. There was a carnival and we hung out at that. There was a band playing that I wanted to see." He pointed to one of the posters on his wall, the one that had to be his favorite band. "We ended up staying at the festival to it closed and I went to talk to them." He reached over to the bedside table where his keys were (showing he had in fact come to his room) and pulled over a poster from the concert that had the band and all the members signatures on it.
"By the time we got back into the city it was well after 2:30, and then I had to bring her home." He explained, unsure why he felt the need to explain this. But, at the same time, he wanted her to know what happened. He honestly cared what she thought of him and didn't want this trip to be miserable because they were fighting over something that didn't even happen.
Of course it was Patti who cleaned up the vomit, and actually managed to do it singing a song about Liz causing Kidd's death in an upbeat cheery tone. She continued to sing the song after Kidd was starting to feel better, but she faded out when Liz glared at her.
"Please don't throw up again..." Liz pleaded, walking over to him and sighing. "Come on Kidd, I'm sorry. I promise I won't do it again..." She stated, resting her fingers on the his temples and rubbing them. "Please relax?" She stated, moving away from him to get a cup of herbal tea and handed it to him. "Here you go, eight ounces, as always." She offered him a sweet smile in an effort to cheer him up, but wasn't sure if it was working. "We're leaving soon, so try not to be worried and uptight for the entire trip, okay? That will take all the fun out of it. This is a vacation, and you know that your dad wants you to relax right?" She questioned, resuming her previous job of rubbing the sides of his head.
