Once they made it through the parking lot, they went into the main doors and started to move toward homeroom. Sam sighed, heading toward her locker to shove her jacket inside of it. Once she had, she glanced toward Tucker. "What? You lost your hot spot maker again?" She teased, but knew it was likely best that they had wifi. It made Tucker happy and they all used internet on their phones.
"We didn't tell her about his ice powers just in case." Sam dropped her voice as they went inside. "There are some secrets that are worth keeping, I guess." Like the fact they hadn't told her parents about Danny's powers. They disliked Danny enough as it was, they didn't want to give them anymore reason to distrust her and try to keep her and Danny apart. They had only recently found out that they were dating and they had been together for almost a year. Her mother was furious. Her father thought it was ridiculous. Of course, they knew better than to try to talk her out of it, so they sighed and allowed the relationship, but Sam knew they were secretly counting the days for them to graduate in the hopes they would break up before or during college.
Since more students were around as they headed to homeroom, Sam opted to change the conversation. "Do you want to tell me what's bothering you? You seem... pretty out of it lately."

"You two were always able to look ahead at these kind of things" Tucker admitted as he released a chuckle. He kept following Sam up to homeroom, since the three of them shared their first class together thankfully. After that, it depended on the day should they see one another again throughout the day. "Well in that case make it snow hard, I think we deserve an extra two days off for the extra work that we've been putting in to keep this place safe and sane"
When Sam started to probe Tucker about what was wrong, his visage fell a little bit. He didn't know how to talk about this without it sounding so...stupid? "My parents are trying to push me to choose which college I should go to. I've been accepted to the top five I applied for, and now that I have them...it all just seems pointless ya know?" Tucker asked as they sat down. "What work am I going to learn there that's going to compare to what I'm doing here? I mean...you guys need me on the team right?"

The two of them decided rather last minute that they didn't want to tell her, and for the most part, it had been Danny's idea. He had a test coming up that he hadn't studied for and would more than likely fail without an extra day to study, so he had made it snow before they had told Maddie about his powers. Since he had used the power once before - without telling anyone - he wanted the opportunity to use it again without telling anyone. Unless of course his best friends wanted a long weekend.
"This place is never going to be sane." And it was only half a joke. Part of her wondered what Amity would be like without them, if they all decided to leave.
Hearing what Tucker said, she looked at him and furrowed her brows. "You sound like Danny." All of them had their own struggles. They wanted to be together, but they also wanted to do their own thing and figure out where they wanted to go and what they wanted to do, while still fighting ghosts. She sighed and stopped him before they walked into homeroom, hugging him to make him feel better. "Hey, no matter what you decide, we'll support you. And, no matter where you go, you'll be able to fight ghosts. I... would be lying if I said I didn't want us to be together, but if that doesn't happen, we'll make it work."
Sam knew better than anyone that what she'd said was a sugary, nice overlook compared to her normal realistic - bleak - outlook on life. It made her feel accomplished to know she actually thought they could make it work and stay friends despite all the distance. Not to mention, of the three of them, Tucker was the most sure of what he wanted to do and it was her job to encourage him to get there, even if it would suck not having him around. They were inside now and clustered in the back corner of the room where the three of them usually sat together. It gave them a chance to talk about ghosts and occasionally lie that Danny had been in homeroom the whole time.
"We need you, Tucker, but not more than you need to do what you need to do on your own."
The bell was about to ring and if Danny didn't make it in the next two minutes, he definitely wasn't going to make it.

Tucker was surprised by the hug, but was quick to return it. While Sam and Danny were together, it didn't stop or slow down the bond of friendship that Tucker had either either of them. Never once had he felt ignored or left out. He was envious that they were happy together, but not to the point that he wanted to see them break up. He just wanted to find someone that could make him feel as happy as they made each other. Tucker wished he could make someone that happy, but he had a lot of growing up to do before that was going to happen. Tucker just nodded at Sam's words, accepting them before taking a seat.
Danny flew in to the back of the room while invisible. He looked around to make sure that no one was looking before appearing in his chair out of thin air. "Hey guys, boy do I have a lot to tell you. Guess whose cousin just flew in to town?" he asked quite literally.

Sam and Tucker had grown used to Danny's antics years ago, so it didn't even surprise them when he appeared seemingly out of no where, especially in school. When he was visible, Sam looked over at him and arched a brow. Well, that certainly explained why he was late, didn't it? "Danielle's back?" She questioned, then looked around the room, expecting to hear that she had come to school with Danny or was hiding out somewhere. And, honestly, it wouldn't surprise her if that was the case. After all, Danielle didn't hide out as well as the three of them would have liked.
"Do you know how long she's staying and where she is now?" Danielle was a part of Danny and Vlad's complicated past, but it had become more and more clear that she remained firmly on Danny's side and avoided Vlad. IT was the reason Sam and Tucker were okay with leaving the two cousins alone whenever Danielle found her way back to Amity Park. Valerie knew of her, so there always remained a chance that something could happen and Danielle and Danny could both get hurt. However, Danny had gotten increasingly good sat staying out of trouble.

Danny turned to Sam and just gave her a smile. "Yeah, she's at my house actually. While I was talking to Danielle, my mom walked in and basically demanded an explanation. I decided to just tell her the truth...well, most of it" Danny corrected himself. "I told Maddie that Danielle was a clone of me, but I told her that The Guys in White created her from DNA of mine" he explained. "She actually took it a lot better than I thought she would, so we'll have to see how that plays out"
Tucker just leaned back in his chair while Danny spoke. "So does this mean that Danielle won't pop up and try to ruin our day in some creative fashion. I gotta say, the last few times she popped up she really messed the school up"
Danny shook his head. "Nah, we might get a day off but we'll plan it together. I'll make sure that you guys know if something is coming up"

Sam couldn't believe how well Maddie took her son being cloned, especially since no one had ever succeeded at cloning anyone before. To give the credit to the guys in white felt like giving them too much scientific knowledge to begin with, and felt like they were cheating the Fenton's out of the truth. Then again, Vlad had toned down bringing Danny down with evil schemes and trying to make Danny his son, so respecting his secret seemed fair, since he and Danny had called a truce. And how do you explain Vlad making Danny without the addition of Plamuis and Vlad's want for a perfect half ghost son.
Now, Sam definitely understood why Danny lied and went with the Guys in White.
"Alright, I suppose we can find a way to figure things out with Danielle. It's not as if she's as pushy as Jazz." She joked with a smile, leaning forward as she laughed. "Nicknaming us all ghost getters." Sam also realized it meant they weren't going anywhere over the weekend, since Maddie wouldn't just let them take off after something like this, so she decided to put it on the back burner for them to figure something out.
"Are we just adding Danielle into our weekend, or do you want a few days with her?"

"No one in this world or the ghost realm is as pushy as Jazz" Danny chuckled as he glanced to the clock. Class was going to start any minute, so they'd have to wrap up this conversation as soon as they could. "I think it'd be good for you guys to meet up and hang with Danielle now that my family knows about her. The less secrets and hiding we do the better, plus I'm sure Danielle would like to hang out and just be normal for a few days"
Tucker glanced to Sam and just shrugged. "Not quite what we were planning, but I'm sure that we can make it work and have some fun. Hopefully there won't be any crazed ghost attack or anything like that. But hey, it's Amity Park. Anything can happen"

Sam nodded, glancing to where Danny was looking at the clock. "Alright. We can figure it out later." It sounded odd, the idea of spending time with Danielle, as they had never really spent time with her. She usually showed up, saw Danny for a very brief period and left. With Maddie knowing about her, it would change things. "We can go to your house after school. Do you want to meet at my car and I'll drive us there?"
The day went by surprisingly quickly. It was Friday, so everyone wanted an early day to say the least. Lunch was fairly quick as well, considering a lot of ghosts were coming from the ghost zone. None of them said much and very few of them stayed to fight Danny. He did managed to catch Skulker and they put him in the thermos and left it in Danny's locker.
They went back to get him at the end of the day and the thermos was empty because someone opened it.
"Should we go find him or just go back to your house?" Sam asked as she shouldered her backpack while they walked through the parking lot toward her car.

Danny shrugged Sam's question off. "We already defeated Skulker once today, he'll probably head back to his lair in the ghost zone to recover from his beating. You know him, if he loses once SOMETHING must be wrong with his equipment. He'll probably try to upgrade himself and come back tomorrow. For now, he shouldn't be a problem" Danny insisted as they arrived over at Sam's car.
"Danny has a point, Skulker prides himself on being the best. He's going to try again, but we'll at least know he's coming sooner rather than later" Tucker said before hopping in to the back of Sam's car. He enjoyed having more room back there to lay his stuff down and relax. Plus, it allowed for Danny and Sam to be up front together.
"So my place then?" Danny asked as he buckled his seatbelt. "Assuming that my mom didn't actually attack Danielle with a plan to dissect her. Would be a shame to come home and find the house on fire"

Sam laughed and started her hybrid car. "Somehow, I think that if your mom wanted to dissect her, the house would be fine." Maddie was actually terrifyingly effective at most things and it wouldn't surprise Sam at all if she had actually dissected a ghost. Still, some things were best left without putting too much thought into them. That woman was powerful, genius, and charming. It was a rather deadly combination.
She drove the three of them back to Danny's house and went into the kitchen, where Danny and Tucker immediately started looking for a snack. The house was incredibly quiet and appeared empty. Until the entire house shook and the sound of eco weapons in the lab followed. Sam grabbed the side of the table so she didn't fall over and looked toward the door to the lab, which was mostly closed, but just partially open.
When the three of them went downstairs, Maddie and Danielle were fighting, and not just any fighting. The two of them appeared locked in a serious battle, despite the fact Danielle was human. She had taken her hoodie off, but was fighting in dark red jeans and a somewhat loose fitting blue three-quarter shirt.

Danny decided to make himself a breakfast sandwich, feeling that it would work well to satisfy his appetite. His dad of course had some device that he rigged up to cook all of the products at once and combine the sandwich for him. While Danny usually avoided using his father's gadgets, he had to admit that this was one that he was enjoying. Danny was in the middle of assembling a sandwich for Tucker when the house shook. "What the hell was that?" Danny asked himself before recognizing the sound of eco weapons. "Oh no" he said before immediately turning ghost and phasing downstairs.
He saw the fight, Maddie firing weapons at Danielle while she defended herself. Danny turned visible before flying between them. "What the hell are you two doing?!"

Danielle transformed and caught the eco-ray that came from the weapon, collected it into a ball and it disappeared. She was floating slightly off the ground now. Her clothing in ghost form was much the same as before, but appeared much tighter on her body.
"Hi sweetie, Sam, Tucker." Maddie smiled at the other two as they came downstairs. "I was testing Danielle's reaction time and I'm impressed." She lowered the weapon and pulled off her goggles and her hood. "She has a good grasp of her powers and she's a good fighter."
Danielle returned to the ground and returned to her human form. "I learned how to fight when I was in New York." She put her hand in the back pockets of her jeans.
Maddie wiped a bit sweat from her brow. "Well, you're not traditionally trained like I am, but it's an affective fighting method, I suppose."

"Oh" Danny said awkwardly as he glanced between Danielle and his mother. He had thought that they were actively trying to harm one another. The sounds and the serious looks on their faces made Danny wonder if leaving them alone together had been the best option. He should have known that his mom would take a very hands-on approach to testing Danielle. It was one of the reasons that she was so good at her job, and respected in certain circles.
"You should see Danielle in a real fight mom" Danny said as he landed on the ground and reverted back to his human form. "It's pretty amazing really, seeing her fight against some of the ghosts we've faced. She's calm against everyone we've ever fought"

Danielle smirked, "Aw, that's so sweet of you." She walked over to Danny and softly punched his arm. "Part of me thinks you're just saying that because you know I'm a way better fighter than you are." Of course, she meant this mostly as a joke. Her and Danny had only fought once and Vlad had been involved, so it was no wonder she had won the fight. All the same, she wondered how strong they would be compared to one another now. Danny was a lot bigger than when he first got his powers and he looked stronger. It made her wonder how much stronger he had become, especially given all the things he had to deal with.
"Well, I might have the chance to see that one day." After all, she had seen Jazz, Sam, and Tucker all fight before knowing Danny was part ghost and she was impressed with their skill, but did wonder how they managed to get them, especially since Sam and Tucker were skilled with Fenton weapons.
She glanced at the four teenagers and suddenly realized something. "Your father and I are supposed to go for the weekend to an anti-ghost and ghost hunting convention. Do you want me to send your father and stay here with you and Danielle?" She asked.
"Naw, I'm used to being on my own. We'll be fine." Danielle insisted. "As long as there's food, I think I can handle a weekend with my cousin."
Maddie sighed, "I could call Jazz?"
