"Believe me, I wouldn't have asked for your help had humans not been involved. As soon as I failed to stop Jhin in time, what I wanted didn't matter" Walker added as he reached up and touched a small part of his coat. It was just to the right of where his heart would be if he was still alive, and he absently rubbed it for a moment before coming back to the present. "Ghosts aren't supposed to interfere in the mortal realm. It was one of the first rules I created after Pariah Dark was sealed away. He didn't give a damn about anyone, especially mortals though. His love of chaos is what made me rise up and create my prison. MY rules are strict, but they prevent travesties like Jhin from ruining lives"
Walker turned back in the direction of the prison. "Let's stop Jhin...after that, maybe I'll see if you have what it takes to fight by my side. Strength alone isn't enough"

"I think stopping Jhin should be our focus, but it's hard to be on a team with someone who doesn't believe in you. For the time being, you're going to have to believe in me and Danny and let us help you. Otherwise, this isn't going to work and you know it. We do meddle in human affairs, but we're humans. Halfas aren't in your rules. We're both and shouldn't have to choose which world to live in. Of course we'll fight ghosts to protect humans, but we'll also fight humans to protect ghosts if that's what's justified." The two of them continued flying as they discussed this. She could understand Walker's plight, but she hoped he would he open to things changing between all of them in the future.
Danielle saw the prison and was surprised. It was still being fixed, but it was fairly large. "Wow..." She observed. "Do you have a lot of prisoners like Jhin?" She questioned as they arrived and went toward the destroyed portion of the prison. The idea of it all was creepy, a ghost prison, a place where even spirits weren't free.

Walker didn't respond to Daneille's recent comment. She was a child and had the ideas of a child. Walker felt like he was that way once, but centuries in the ghost zone had taught him that fighting for ideals was possible, but rarely succeeded. Ghosts and humans could never work along each other successfully. The number of ghosts that spawned from negative emotion were too large compared to the ones that spawned from something even semi-positive. Walker had a great deal of ghosts captured at one point, but Danny interfered with him too many times and organized a riot that allowed them to escape. Walker didn't allow himself to make that mistake again.
"I have many prisoners similar to Jhin, but none quite so brutal. I'd have Pariah Dark himself locked in here if I thought it was the best decision" Walker said as they flew to the entrance. After moving through several checkpoints, they made their way in to the prison Where Danielle saw the small, but dedicated guards that worked for Walker. "Come on, we're heading to the lower levels" Walker said as he stepped on an elevator and started to go down. They passed through floor after floor of cells, where Danielle just saw ghosts of every time begging or fighting to be freed. "No one gets off here for good behavior, or at least no one ever has"

Danielle couldn't believe how many ghosts there were. The sight made her sad and wonder what they had all done to end up here. Despite everything, Danielle still had high empathy for others, especially living as she had in New York with humans. While ghosts weren't human, some of them still had emotions, feelings, desires. IT was so strange to see them imprisoned. "If they're created based one emotions, does that mean if they stop feeling those emotions, they move on?" She wondered. Then again, she was a ghost and that meant that things didn't neccisarily work like they did in a lot of religious beliefs. Was religion real, could it be, with her being a ghost?
It brought more questions than it answered, so she stopped considering this, and instead focused on the prison around her. They went into a deep, cold part of the prison that was so far below it she wasn't sure if he was above the ground, or if the prison was even built on a ground. She wrapped her arms around herself, trying to ignore her constant ghost sense as they moved. There were so many ghosts, it went off incredibly quickly. "Was Jhin trying to kill ghosts the way he was humans? Or has he always killed humans and that's what got him here?"

"Ghost don't stop feeling the emotions that drive them" Walker explained as he stared at the cells unblinking. "Look at how many enemies Danny has fought over the years, all the same ones. No matter how many times he tries to stop them, all they do is keep fighting. That's why I lock them away, where they at least can't cause any problems" he explained as the elevator came to a stop. Danielle would immediately see that this floor was much more heavily guarded, along with housing several repair teams. This was where Jhin had escaped from.
"Jhin wasn't trying to kill ghosts. He learned that ghosts don't die anywhere as easily as humans do" Walker continued on. "When we found him he was torturing four of them, just watching them regenerate as he continued his methods of madness...I knew from the moment I saw him that I could never let him escape. Despite what pictures you saw, they're only a hint of the kind of mad man Jhin is"

Danielle listened, fascinated by the ghost lore that existed. Did that mean all humans didn't become ghosts? It was something she thought before, but this almost seemed to prove what she had been thinking and it was incredible to think about. They were all driven by something that was spawned just before their deaths. They wanted something so badly, they made it so they would live. It was incredible to think about and made her wonder more, but knew by this point that Walker wasn't too chatty when it came to things of this nature, so she kept these thoughts to herself as they moved through the prison together. "Well, if you keep having to lock them up for doing the same things, doesn't it make more sense to make it so they don't need to be locked up? There has to be something that will trigger their memories of what they wanted for when they were still human and that should help bring them peace, right?"
It was around now they arrived at the floor Jhin was held on, and this didn't even compare to some prisons she'd seen - phased into - in New York. She looked around. This floor was smaller, bt much more heavily guarded. There were fewer rooms and a bit more open space for the guards, which made it clear the cells that held the inmates were just slightly smaller than the ones on previous floors.
Torture was his thing. Yeah, well all in the makings of a good serial killer right? It was always something off like that, so Danielle wasn't really surprised. They were rebuilding and she wondered how he could have escaped. "If you knew you couldn't let him escape... how do you plan on stopping him and getting him back here once we do find him?"

"If death was a fairy tail and actually worked that way perhaps I'd change my methods" Walker said as they continued to walk forward. "Ghosts are beyond help, myself included. All we can do is try and contain the problem as well as we can. There are plenty of weak ghosts that are capable of moving on after their experiences. The ones that you and Danny keep fighting are not so weak though, that's why you keep sending them back here whenever you stop them. Ghost can't be helped, only stopped. I think I knew that" Walker said quietly as his mind started thinking of memories that just seemed out of reach. He shook his head, focusing back on the task at hand.
"Ghost can be hurt easily with the right tools. I'll do whatever it takes to make Jhin remain here this time. I'll break every part of his body until he's unable to muster the energy to even feed himself if that's what it takes" Walker said as he turned his head towards Danielle. "If there was a better way I'd see it through, but no such way exists. If I can't contain Jhin, I'd have to find a way to destroy him"

Danielle wondered if that was the case or if Walker just let his preconceived prejudice take control of him and influence his way of thinking. The idea of ghosts being stuck that way and constantly driven toward a goal was almost foreign to her. It was not something she understood well and it made her endlessly curious as to the possible paths that could occur from all this. And, the really odd thing was there had to be a ghost who understood it all and would be able to sort through the chaos of what was and what is now. She wondered if she could ask danny and if Walker knew of such a ghost. There had to be one, right?
The idea of hurting ghosts made her think of the guys in white and just seemed to fit the pieces together that Walker had been one of them. Then again, he said he'd been dead for centuries, so if he had been one of the Guys in White, he would have been slightly different, older, less technology savy version of them. The gents in white. She smiled despite the serious tone of all this at her own thoughts before realizing that ghosts could be destroyed. She wrapped her arms around her and held herself, floating off the ground as she thought about what it was to destroy a ghost, what it felt like. Oddly enough, it felt like nothing, it felt cold and oddly strange. It felt much the way melting ice cream on a hot day looked except instead of getting hotter, you got colder and colder until everything around you was ice.
Of course, she recovered from it. "Plasmius can destroy ghosts." she finally said to break the silence. "He tried to destroy me and would have done so if it wasn't for Danny. That's back before my ghost half was stable. It's... awful. I wouldn't wish that on anyone." She swallowed for a moment and licked her lips, both from nerves and uncertainty. "Do you think destroying him is the right thing to do? And if you feel so strongly about it, why didn't you do it sooner?"

Walker glanced to Danielle as she asked her question. "Because I'm concerned about what I'll become when I take the first step of crossing that line. Today it begins with Jhin, and if in my mind I stop him from hurting someone else, where do I stop?" Walker asked rhetorically. "It's like I told you, no ghost comes here to change. No ghost turns themselves in or ever surrenders. They're forcefully captured. If I start killing, I don't know when or where it would end" Walker said as he stopped outside of a destroyed door. He stared inside for a moment before stepping inside and allowing Danielle to follow.
Inside was a small room, but it spoke volumes. ACross every inch of wall, something was either written or drawn. Jhin made some use of his time. The most common marking were four etches with one slash through it: four victims, one performance from Jhin. Along with this were several phrases and other dialect. "If I walked down that path...what would I become then?" Walked asked himself as his hand traced some of the markings that Jhin had made on the wall.

Danielle could understand. Killing was easy, easier than the alternative. As they walked, she wondered why this worried him. "You're a good ghost." she finally stated. "You imprisoned him for years and you're only going to destroy him because of what he's doing, killing humans. That seems a good place to access when ghosts should be killed. You're a good man. The others might not see it because you gave Danny a hard time, but I do and I've had my fair share of run ins with cops to know the good and bad ones. You would be able to stop. If it worried you, you could always make it so you couldn't make the choice to kill a ghost on your own, you'd beed the approval of other ghosts to make it happen."
Once inside the cell, Danielle looked amazed, looking at the writings. She took out her phone and started to take pictures, texting a barrage of them to Sam as she did so, figuring that Sam and Tucker would be able to do something. Sam would also likely be able to read what was on these walls or connect his victims. That was something worth noting at the very least. As she hovered in the cell, she glanced to Walker when he spoke again. "If you'd rather not do it to him, there are others who could do it for you... outside the ghost zone."
