Danny chuckled, but grabbed his arm anyway as Danielle had hit him harder than she meant to. For her size, she was quite strong and powerful. She got underestimated a lot, but she could hold her own in any fight. Ghost or human too. Danny just turned and smiled at her. "Guess we'll just have to see the next time we're both out there, have a competition to see who captures more ghost than the other. It'll be like Legolas and Gimli"
Danny looked to his mom as she mentioned the convention and the possibility of getting Jazz down here. "Mom you know that we've been able to handle ourselves for sometime. We don't need to take Jazz away from her studies" Danny said. He loved his sister, but he also knew that she was meant for other things. As much as he knew Jazz wanted to help, she was so smart and needed to focus on her college studies. She was better than Danny in that regard, and he didn't want to ruin that for her.
"Mom I promise, if anything goes on while you're gone I'll call you immediately. We don't need to bother Jazz"

Maddie sighed and nodded. She looked at Danielle for a moment. "I've decided not to tell your father about Danielle yet, at least, not that she's your clone and that the guys in white did this. Somehow, I think that would make the convention difficult." Now, she glanced at Danielle. "Did they know you were human?"
Danielle wasn't sure how to answer. "No. My ghost form wasn't stable for a while, so they just thought I wasn't right. They were always talking about destroying me and then set a trap to bring out Danny. After he saved me, i found out he was part human and I told him that I was half human too." She explained, hoping this wouldn't come back to haunt them later. "I mean, if they knew, I suppose they could have equated it to the fact I was once alive." She shrugged, not totally sure.
Sam figured now was a good time to change the subject. "The Guys in White don't seem to have much interest in Danielle anymore, surprisingly. They want her back, of course, to study her and what makes her stable, but we're not going to ever let that happen."
Maddie smiled. "Alright. Well, I'm going to go finish packing. I made a few things you can heat in the oven over the weekend Danny." She paused. "And I'm sure your father is going to leave you money for take out."

Danny saw what Sam was doing and decided to stick with her and get the subject off of Danielle and the Guys in White. "Whatever they want with Danielle, she's family now. I won't let them hurt or toy with her again, not ever" Danny said with a smile as he pulled Danielle in to a half hug. He did mean it to, even if he was using this to just get his mom to stop asking questions and believe that everything would be okay.
"You just have a fun time on your trip mom. The four of us will handle things here while you're gone" he added. "You and dad just have a fun time and try not to show off too much"

Maddie nodded and gave in, knowing there was no sense in fighting against them on this. While she didn't want to just leave after Danielle arrived, it might be better to let her get used to the house and then the people in it. From the day she spent with Danielle, she seemed entirely functional, inquisitive and sweet. She was different than Danny, and she found herself marveling at how different they were. Then again, Danny and Jazz were just as different. Somehow, it felt nice, the idea of her having another daughter. While she loved Danny, they hadn't been close since he'd started middle school, and especially in high school.
Things had improved when they learned his secret and he was open with his powers, but she was quite content with their relationship as it stood now.
"Alright, sweetie, I think I can handle that." She kissed his cheek. "I;m going to go finish packing. I want all three of you to do your homework tonight instead of on Sunday and rush through it." They spent most of their time here, so Maddie had no issues being a mother to the three of them and it had been that way almost the entire time they had been friends, most of their lives.
Sam glanced toward Danny and smiled. "I'll make sure he does it."
Once Maddie left, Danielle looked up at Danny. "You're not really going to do it right?" She grinned deviously. "Wanna go fly around town?"

Danny smiled at his mom's kiss, Sam and Tucker had been here long enough to not tease him about things like that anymore. "Yeah mom, we'll get it all done unless the city needs to be saved. In that case I think you'll be a little sympathetic" Danny chuckled before waving after his mom as she left to go finish packing. As soon as the door closed he glanced back to Danielle. "Sounds like a plan" he said as he turned ghost.
"Sam, Tuck, we'll be right back. Feel free to order us all some pizza and use whatever money my dad left. We'll be back before ya know it"
Several Weeks Later...
Things had gone well in the time since Danielle arrived. It had taken a little bit of warming up, but Sam and Tucker got to know Danielle like Danny knew her. Things were better, though still not perfect by any means. They had a lot more time together as a team, and that alone allowed Danielle to see how useful Sam and Tucker could be with fighting ghosts.
"I'm beat" Danny said as he was laying on the couch, just staring up at the ceiling. "I've been looking at these books for hours and I feel like I might have absorbed five words" he added as he looked to the textbook that he needed to study for next week's test. "You guys up for some kind of a break? I definitely need one"

Danielle adjusted fairly well to living with people, especially ones who knew about her ghost powers. After some careful tactics, Maddie ended up enrolling Danielle in school, trying to make things as normal as they could without having to explain where she suddenly came from. A long lost cousin from New York, the child of one of Jack's brothers. It was believable enough, considering her age and her physical similarity to Jack and Danny. Things worked out with relative ease, except her forgetting her powers here and there, but Sam and Tucker wer quicker to catch her than Danny, since he had done a lot of that when he was young as well.
In the weeks that passed, Danielle had spent it learning and catching up on the near ten years of school she missed and did well enough where she could pas for a Fenton. Jazz had been so excited to meet her on Skype, she almost flew home over the weekend. Despite everything, Danielle had never actually met Jazz. However, they convinced Jazz to stay at Yale, there was no need for her to come rushing home.
"Five words?" Danielle smirked. "That many, huh?" She was laying on a blanket on the floor, staring up at the ceiling, not far from where Tucker was in a chair with his laptop.
"Oh finally." She suddenly sat up and looked at Danny and Sam, who were on the couch together. Danny, laying across it and Sam sitting on a small portion of it. "Wanna go explore the ghost zone? Or go for a ride?"
Sam sighed and smiled at the two of them. "All four of us could do something together."
Danielle looked at her, as if to say that's what she meant, then remembered Sam and Tucker couldn't fly. She shrugged after that and laid down again. "I'm fine with doing whatever as long as there's no more studying."

"First good suggestion I've heard all day" Tucker said as he glanced up from his laptop. While Tucker was smart, he also didn't enjoy studying in any capacity. He was good at it, but that didn't mean he enjoyed it. Truthfully a part of him was looking forward to college, at least once he was there he could focus on the classes that he wanted to take rather then all the classes he was made to take in high school. "I agree with Sam though, we should do something that we all can do"
Danny opened his mouth to suggest something when a knock came at the door. Danny glanced to the door before getting up and heading over. "Be right back guys" he said before opening the doorway. There, a police officer stood at attention as his eyes instantly fell on Danny. The two exchanged words briefly before the officer stepped inside with Danny shutting the door behind him. The office glanced to where the rest of the team were.
"Oh good you're all here" the officer said as his eyes suddenly turned green. "We need to talk ghost child" the officer said as his voice changed.
Danny tensed as he went ghost on the spot. "Walker...what are you doing so far from the ghost zone?
"I'm here to ask for your help" Walker said as he had the police officer lightly hold up his hands to show that he wasn't here for a fight. "Trust me, you're going to want to help when you hear what's happened"

Danielle looked up when Danny got up, trying to think of something they could all do. Admittedly, without hunting ghosts, there wasn't that much they were into that functioned as a group activity. They had already played mini golf and gone bowling. They'd even skipped a day of school to go snowboarding.
She was up to doing whatever they wanted and honestly, as long as it was out of the house, she was down for it.
When Danny returned with a cop, she stood up out of reflex and tensed, worried this had to do with her. However, she noticed the glowing eyes. Immediately after, he made a comment about ghost cold and she bent at the knees, ready for a fight.
Sam stood from the couch as well, but didn't move closer to Danny. "What are you doing here?" Their help? Somehow, she didn't believe it, Walker had been after Danny for years. Now it seemed like he wanted something? No, it felt like a trap.
"Well...?" Sam asked. "What do you need us for?" He made a point to mention that all of them were assembled, so that meant Walker needed more than just Danny.

Danny moved back to the team, leaving Walker in his human disguise on one side of the room. He took off his hat and set it down before taking a seat in one of the family chairs. "About a month ago Skulker was hunting after a particularly dangerous bounty. Skulker has his issues, but sometimes he's also able to deliver particular bad ghosts to me. However, this day the ghost he brought in wasn't completely defeated" Walker explained. "The thing tried making one last run for it, leaving Skulker to use more...effective means of bringing him down. In the explosion part of my prison was destroyed"
Walker was quiet for a moment before looking up to face the team. "You've been to my prison before ghost child, but you have no idea of some of the true horrors I've had to lock away in that place. And when Skulker damaged my prison, he released one of my worst....a ghost by the name of Jhin"
"Wait" Tucker began. "You've had some of our strongest enemies locked in their, and you're telling me this Jhin guy is worse than all of them?"
Walker nodded. "Believe me, you have no idea the kind of power this man has. Even amongst ghosts, everyone that really knows him is afraid of him"

Danielle moved toward Danny and watched Walker, unsure as to why he was inside of a human host. While she knew a great deal about Walker, this was the first time she had ever met him. Danny, Danielle and Sam were standing the closest together, but Tucker wasn't far off. The idea of someone breaking out of Walker's prison seemed near impossible, Danielle had seen it here and there when going in the ghost Zone and had always managed to stay out of it.
"Jhin?" Sam asked, arching a brow. It wasn't an ancient ghost, one she'd read about, like Pandora. Even in all the legitimate books she'd found on ghosts - most of which were written by Freakshow - this was not a ghost she had ever heard of. However, the name sounded familiar from something else she knew. Ghosts were once people, so a dangerous ghost named Jhin was something she could remember.
"Walker?" Sam added, taking a step beyond Danny so she was the closest person in the room to the ghost jailer. "Was Jhin a human serial killer?

Walker nodded as he looked towards Sam. "Jhin was in France, 1905 when his killing spree began. He was known to brutally injure and main his targets before finally killing them. He allowed them to beg for death all they wanted, but no one ever survived once he claimed them" Walker explained. "His massacre caused a wave of fear across the entire country. He was executed publicly, something France continued to do until 1939" Walker finished explaining.
Danny looked over to Sam as he could tell something was on her mind. "You've heard of this guy? Was he really that bad?"

Sam looked incredibly surprised. Jhin had been in Walker's prison all this time? Sam glanced toward Danny when he asked her what he knew. "From what I've read, what Walker said is true. All the histories of him are mostly journals from his lover and himself. He left behind a vast collection, detailing his crimes and a detailed list of his methods of torture." Sam looked at Walker, as if to see if this was indeed the case. "The journals are fairly terrifying. A few years ago, two of them were released to the public and they're dark. Apparently there are a few real world things that were based off his story."
The idea of what was happening was quite chilling and Sam wasn't quite sure if all she had read actually happened, but if Walker had come to them, then it was indeed serious. "If... this man was in your prison and he's escaped, does that mean... you think he's kidnapping and holding people for torture again?" If that was the case, they certainly had a problem on their hands. Evidentially, Jhin had been near unstoppable.
"If the story is true, he told his lover what he was doing and tried to bring her into the game - as he called it - in horror, she went to the authorities and betrayed him. He was executed because he was betrayed by her."

Walker nodded, supporting exactly what Sam said. "He was one of the ghost that I was charged with collecting years ago. I wasn't the only Warden once, many of my brothers were killed when we took Jhin in. We had to use powerful artifacts to keep him sealed away this time. Now that he's free, he hasn't just started torturing again, he's begun killing" walker said as he pulled out a folder and tossed it on the table.
Tucker opened the folder and immediately looked like he was about to gag. All of them would have their turn looking at the images, seeing the mutilated corpses of the victims that Jhin claimed.
"Four victims, that's how he always works" Walker said as he looked to Sam. "He killed four men in the name of his lover, and he's been obsessed with the number ever since. With these four dead, it means that he'll start collecting once again. He always saves his victims until he gathers all four of them...I can't let this monster keep killing humans because he escaped my care. That's why I'm here, despite our past we need to combine forced to find and stop this monster"

Danielle floated above Tucker's shoulder to look over the folders. Her eyes widened for a moment she felt incredibly light headed and sick. This... this is what they were dealing with? "So... what do you think we can do about this?" She asked, still floating in her human form next to Tucker's left shoulder. This was something she had never experienced. Hunting a ghost serial killer? Is this really what Danny got involved with on weekends? Maybe she did come to the right place. While this did scare her, it was also exciting. Danny was well thought of in the ghost zone, for the most part.
Sam rubbed her lips together uncomfortably. "If he has escaped then we'll have to do something to stop him, but how would we even go about finding him?" She glanced toward Danny, wondering if he was thinking what she was thinking. Then she looked at Walker and asked, "Do you know if he's in Amity Park?" They needed a lead, to figure out where he was and what was going on. No one had gone missing in Amity park as far as Sam knew, except for the police commissioner's unexpected vacation, but that had been almost a week ago.
"What's your plan to stop him exactly? If you lost ghosts trying to stop him, what's the best way to stop his power as a ghost?"

Walker looked over as everyone asked him what his plan was. "Jhin has always taken four victims, no more, no less" he explained. "I'm afraid that he has already begun collecting his next victims. I'm not in this disguise purely by choice. I'm afraid the police commissioner of Amity Park has already been taken. As you can imagine, Jhin isn't exactly a fan of authority figures. As soon as he gets the rest of his victims, he'll kill all four of them"
Danny looked to the ground before back to the images of the people that Jhin had already killed. "We have to do something..."
"Honestly, that's why I came here. In the Ghost Zone I can lead my men like a well-trained unit, but this world isn't that known to me" Walker said as he looked to Team Phantom. "I'm willing to take second point on this mission if it means capturing Jhin. Any way to track him down, detect him, locate him...I'm hoping a team of humans that hunt ghosts might be the kind of fresh eyes I need"
