Katara made a face. "Then don't try an argue with me." She said, fingers gripping the wheel, which was covered in a blue steering wheel gripper, her name dotted across it in small letters. "And Sokka, I CAN HEAR YOU." She said loudly, turning around completely to look at him, jabbing a finger into his eye. She settled back into her seat, having not hit anything luckily, and continued to drive. She turned on her turn signal and parked on the side of the street where the cafe was located. She turned off the car and swung open her door, nearly hitting another car which was on the road.
Aang was glad to see that they'd stopped driving. "Yeah well, maybe I'll land in a soft piece of grass." He said, getting out of the car. He left his backpack in the back seat, seeing no need in bringing it. Stretching when he got out the seat, he looked back at everyone, waiting for them to get out so they could go in.

Was Toph losing her mind or did Katara just turn around and reach in the back seat? The car jerked and she heard a rather loud horn. This is why she stopped arguing with her here. She valued her life and didn't want to become the reason Katara committed a hundred or so counts of vehicular manslaughter. She tensed and thought that maybe she should be holding onto the car. Or maybe that the back seat would be much safer for her at this point. Katara maneuvered the car into something and did one of her parking jobs and as soon as she turned off the car and pulled the keys out, Toph was out of the car as fast as she could.
Sighing, she walked over towards where Aang was now standing. "She's trying to kill us." She whispered when Katara was distracted.
Sokka looked up and laughed sheepishly. "Sorry, but I'm right." He stated. After getting out of the car, he looked at the place that of course was done up and designed like a hippie place (or he thought so). He groaned and put his hands in his pockets and started to walk with them towards it.

Katara took out her compact mirror, checking herself to make sure she didn't look pissed off. Sighing, she shoved it back into her bag and locked the car once everyone was out. She lead them into the restaurant, taking a seat near the window. There were menus laid out in front of them and she reached for one of them, skimming through it quickly. The waiter made his way out, a boy with dark brown hair hair and gold eyes she recognized from school.
"Hey, how's it going. I'll be your waiter today, but just as a warning - most of the food here is terrible so if you want a nice place to eat you might want to try someplace else. However, if you enjoy nasty tasting food, then go ahead and orde-" Someone from the back room threw a spatula at the male's head.
"That's not how you win customers over, you idiot! Do your job or I'm firing you!"
"Right, sorry." He turned back to the group of teenagers. "Well hello there beautiful ladies and equally attractive males! Here at the Loving Cafe we have an assortment of yummy food that's also good for you! We've got everything from a beautifully crafted soy burger made of the finest ingredients, to a scrumptious autumn salad with a heavenly dressing that will just BLOW your socks off. PLEASE take your pick, as everything here is just to die for!" He sang enthusiastically, making various hand gestures.
Okay, Aang was scared. "I-I think I'll just take the salad."
"WONDERFUL! Now will that be fruit or vegetable?! And will you be enjoying one of our godsent smoothies today?! We have them in peach, stawberry, mixed berry, pomegranate, and orange!"
"Um..vegetable. And for the smoothie I guess I'll just take the peach. Actually, do you guys serve noodles?"
"Oh, yes! Thank the the holy heavens you asked because we have a wondrous variety of noodles! Just have a look at your menu there!"
"I'll have the Udon noodles on top of my order as well, thanks."
"NO! Thank you little arrow man! Now what will everyone else be having from our AMAZING MENU?" He shouted the last part at the door at the back of the room.

Toph believed him. Being able to tell when people were lying had it's perks. That meant she was most likely going to wait to eat for a little while. The entire interaction between himself, the man that employed him and Aang lead her to believe that Katara heard about this place in a bathroom sharing a tooth brush with another anorexic to throw up with. Putting her legs up on the booth on the opposite side of her, she sighed.
In a caring manner, she made sure not to kick Aang, who was sitting across from her. Her feet were between his thigh and the wall, but didn't take up too much space. "I think you should just bring me a mixed berry smoothie." She said dully. "I'm not that hungry."
Sokka looked over the menu. "There's no meat here..." he sounded defeated. Looking across the parking lot, he saw a fast food restaurant. "Hey, Toph, want to go get a burger with me?"
"I'd rather you get it for me and bring me back actually." She added flatly. "You have a habit of asking me that, ordering the entire menu and then having me pay for it. My dad actually called to ask me if I had a heart attack or was pregnant because I spent 126 dollars at Wendy's."

The man sighed before going on another painful rampant. "Sure we have meat, a very different though highly nutritious and orgasmic meat called SOY meat! It's wonderful, you should give it a shot, buddy! So please, please order something." He said this in a way that almost sounded like begging.
Katara smiled. "I think this is a wonderful place guys! You haven't even given it a shot. I mean, look how happy this guy is. He obviously loves this place."
"You have no idea."
"In that case, I'll take a soy burger and a pomegranate smoothie please." She said, kindly. He scribbled it down on his notepad and swiped a tattooed hand over his forehead, clearly exhausted.
He looked at Sokka. "Give me a break and order something, please. You don't know what I go through every-"
"What the hell was that?! I really HOPE you didn't just say what I thought you were going to say because now you're working overtime baby!"
"YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY~! I bet I'm not getting paid for that overtime either, right?"
"Right."
"Even better! Golly, I love it here! Here's your order, dearest manager!" He said, flinging the notepad at the door.
"I know you do. And by the way, Zhen, it's your turn to wear the Soybean Suit!" The female yelled back, a tinge of joy coating her screechy voice.
"I wore that stupid thing last wee-"
"Did I just hear 'stupid'?"
The man face palmed. "No, of course not. I said, It's just so stupid how I'm depriving someone the honor of wearing the Soybean Suit!" He shouted, flinging the towel over his shoulder. He sighed and walked off. "I think I'll drown myself tonight..." A minute later he came out in a happy go lucky suit that resembled a soybean. In his hands were the meals they ordered. He placed them on the table and picked up the sign beside the door, opening it.
"Don't forget the song!"
"Yeah, whatever."
Aang looked at them before he glanced down at his food. "I don't ever want to come back here again..." He said, poking the noodles. He tried some of them, almost gagging. "Wow this is terrible! There's no taste to it, it's just...ugh!" He wiped his tongue onto a napkin and attempted to try the salad. It was edible, but the sauce ruined the whole thing. The smoothie was alright but much too thick.

Toph picked up her smoothie when it was brought to her. "I have the utmost pity for him." She added, turning her body in Katara's direction. "We should tip him. A lot. And when I saw we, I mean you because it was your idea to come here." She took a long drip from her smoothie, which even she had to admit was amazing. It seemed this place, if nothing else, was good for smoothies. "This is delicious." She said, and actually meant what she said.
Sokka did as he was asked and ordered something. He was starving, so he ordered quite a bit. When the food arrived, he tried it, and his eyes widened. "These noodles are AMAZING! we have to come back here!" He exclaimed and then began to shovel everything into his mouth and chewed it with his mouth partially open, as if in a utopia that was unknown to the morals on earth. "This is an amazing meal! Only the spirits enjoy feasts like this!" He said, looking at Aang.
"What's wrong with you, ungrateful jerk?" He took his plate and started to eat that when he was finished with his own. "Waiter! Please bring me another one of those!"

Aang made a face. "How can you even..." He almost threw up watching Sokka scarf down the noodles. They literally tasted like water, noodles, and salt. But then again, Sokka was known for his bad taste in...well, everything. He sighed and pushed him the salad he had started. "Have that too, it's really sweet. Too sweet." He said and popped open the top of his smoothie. He reached for one of the spoons, settling for eating it that way instead. It wasn't bad, it actually tasted good, but it was thick like ice cream rather than a smoothie. He didn't mind that though, at least one thing on this menu wasn't crap.
Katara took a bite out of her burger. "This is..." She chewed and swallowed, smacking her lips together as if to continue tasting. "Not that bad." She lied, but continued eating simply because she didn't want to be proven wrong. Katara was never wrong. "Sokka likes it, you two are just extremely picky." She said.
Upon realizing what Sokka had said, the man's eyes widened and he quickly scrambled to the kitchen, nearly slipping in the giant costume.

Sokka couldn't be happier. "No Katara, that's a fake meat burger, I'm sure that taste like crap. THIS on the other hand is amazing! Leave it to animal freaks to make delicious noodles! It's all they have." He ate the salad and he enjoyed that less than the noddles and he continued to eat it until it was gone. When his new order came out, he was almost foaming at the mouth. He then started to devour it rather rapidly. Getting another menu, he looked through and ordered two more things.
"Hey, Twinkle toes, let me try yours." She offered him hers so he could try it if he let her try some of his. She liked peaches, and they all got a different type of smoothie, so it made sense to try all of what they had available.

Aang reached out, handing her his smoothie. He smiled and opened the top of hers, taking a spoonful. The mixed berry one tasted slightly better than the peach one. "I think these smoothies are the only things that are good on this menu." He said, and flailed when Sokka splashed some of the juice on him. "Hey, you're getting noodle juice all over me! Eat slower!" He said, wiping his cheek with the sleeve of his shirt.
Katara smacked Sokka upside the head, causing the noodles to stop in his throat for a bit. "Hey, calm down. You're going to choke if inhale your food that way. I don't want to have to be the one to tell dad that you died because you were an idiot." She said, biting the crust of her burger. She opened up her smoothie, taking a sip.

Sokka choked when Katara hit him and then started coughing. He managed to recover without dying. he glared at his sister. "I'm fine." He stated, but started to eat slower, risking someone else hitting him because he was eating the most delicious food on this planet. He sighed and took a large gulp of his pomegranate smoothie and then went back to his noddles. "I can't believe you don't like this. Toph, you have to try this! It's completely amazing."
"I'd rather survive, if that's okay with you." She added, tasting Aang' smoothie. "They didn't put enough peaches." She handed it back to him and continued to drink her own. It was thick, but it was better if she drank it with a straw. She didn't want to get it all over herself and end up looking like an idiot. Leaning back in the booth, she turned to Katara. She snagged a few of her chips and ate them. They were the alternative to french fries, and they were baked chips, so they weren't too bad.
"We should go somewhere after this and get mozzarella sticks." She added thoughtfully. "I could use something greasy and delicious."

Katara shivered. "Grease? No way, I cut that out of my diet a long time ago. You guys can go, they're probably serving crap like that in the cafeteria in school right now." she said. The cafeteria served scheduled meals even before school started, so long as there were kids in the dorms. She finished off her burger and dusted off her hands, picking up some of the chips and eating them. "We should go see a movie tonight, I heard theres a really good one out right now. I also want to see Tangled, it looks really cute." She said. "But if I get a date, I'm ditching you guys." She paused for a moment. "I'm just kidding." Or was she? She knew that if she'd somehow gotten Zuko to go out on a date with her, she'd ditch her friends for awhile.
Aang blinked. "Mozzarella sticks actually sound really good right now. All I had to eat today was this smoothie. I was too busy settling into my dorm. And helping Sokka into his." He said, using the spoon to continue eating his smoothie. When it was melted enough, he dropped in the spoon and started to drink it that way. "We should grab something and head back to campus and eat it in the park." He said.

Toph rolled her eyes. "I hate it whenever you want to go see a movie. You always take me with you and I'm always missing the bigger picture. Pun intended. Words only get me so far when I can't feel any vibrations. Take Aang and Sokka with you and bring me back to campus for once. I don't feel like going." She crossed her arms and rested her head on the cushion of the booth. She hated it when Katara did things like this, and she did them all the time. Never mind what her friends wanted to do. It's all about what she wanted to do whether they enjoyed it or not.
They were near the mall, which had a restaurant that had the best food and they had mozzarella sticks. Not to mention the mall had a movie theater in it. "Why don't you call one of your friends and have them come meet you at the mall and me and Aang can go and get something to eat. That way you can see your movie and don't have to look at all the delicious grease and fat that your missing out on." Earth bending was more cardio intensive than water bending. Besides, as someone that couldn't see, Toph didn't care what she looked like.
Sokka nodded. "Yeah, I like that idea. I need to go to the mall to pick up a few things for my dorm and they're playing that awesome battle movie with all the blood and stuff. I could call some guys to meet me up there. That could be cool. Then we could all meet up and go to the beach and watch the sun set or whatever. What do you think?"

Katara shrugged. "Sure that works. I'll text Suki and a few of her friends. She'd probably love to go." She said, taking out her phone. She pulled out her phone, typing up a quick message and pressing send. Reaching into her bag, she took out some money and put it on the table. "That should be enough to cover it. Let's go." She said, pushing back her chair. It squeaked as it moved across the tiled floor. She took out her keys and left with them back to the car where she sat opened the door and got in, starting the car.
Aang nodded. "That works for me too. I'm hungry and you and Sokka ate. Toph and I should go grab something too." He said. "We've all got our phones, so we can text and meet up later." He looked at Sokka and laughed. "Since when did you become a sunset guy?" He asked, walking out of the cafe and to the car. He got into the back seat again, not bothering to buckle himself in since the mall wasn't that far anyway.

Sokka took out his phone and sent text messages to his friends and then pocketed his phone. Once they were in the car, he got a few replies and smiled. His friends were going to meet up with him at the front of the mall. They'd buy the tickets for the movie that started in about an hour and then browse the mall to kill some time. A bunch of them needed things, from drinks, to clothes for the party, and other things of that nature. "See you later." He waved, walking off when he saw one of his friends, a guy from the water tribe. "Meet up with you later!" He added, ignoring what Aang had said.
"Text Aang. I don't feel like texting." She added when they got up and went out to the car with them. She took her drink with her because it was in a portable cup. She finished it before they got to the mall. When they parked, she got out of the car and walked over to Aang. "Where do you want to go?" They had to go somewhere that obvious served both, which was like every restaurant. "I want something with pasta, so we should most likely do Italian."

Katara parked the car in front of the mall. She met up with Suki and a few of their other friends and headed into the movie theater. She waved at the others and disappeared into the crowd.
Aang nodded. "Italian sounds good. I've been wanting some good pasta all day long, but those noodles killed it for me." He said, shivering. "It's like they paid too much attention on the soy products that they forgot to work on the noodles." He said, following her into the mall. They headed toward the food court. "So I want vegan spaghetti and mozzarella sticks. That sounds great." His stomach growled in agreement and he shoved his hands into the his pockets, walking off after her. His eyes wandered around, glancing through the windows of shops.
